There is a delicious familiar flavor - I think it's camp fire roasted marshmellows. M - nice thick but not sticky O - it's hard to day a 12 oz beer is worth this price, but it is at least once. One of the best beers I have ever tasted

Maybe could age, but very smooth fresh. The flavor reminds me of Gulden Draak (one of my very favorites).

4.2/5 rDev -1.4% look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25 L - Really nice, very dark almost black but with a nice reddish hue and a very creamy head S - Very interesting sweet smell with the sassafras making it very unique T - Sweet old ale flavor augmented by the sassafras - some vinous sherry coming through M - Slightly sticky, what you would expect from an old ale 0 - Very good, very unique. I think this will also improve as the vinous sherry/port flavors come out more with aging (which I plan to do with my other bottle).

about 4 months. vanilla aroma very prominent and nice. coffee is down a lot in nose and taste. 4.5
