2014-05-26 the nose is equal parts coffee, malt, and booze....really an incredible blend of smells. The taste was about the same...you get coffee, malt, and then the heat of the booze...really a great taste. As good, if not better then the regular stout. | |

2014-05-24 the hopburst technique turns what i think an IPA is gonna taste like on its head. this beer tastes like a nice pale ale at the front end, then as the hits the back of your throat the hops really hits...interesting...a bit cat pissian, but all around a nice experience. id drink this again, if just for the odd flavor placements in the mouth. | |
