was "forced" to drink one. it fell off the shelf and i thought the cap was compromised. very nice beer. doesn't have the depth of flavor as backwoods but for an easier to find beer it was great.

not stellar, but a good beer to enjoy. just enough pepper heat.

reminiscent of central waters space ghost. raisons, peppers most pronounced.

hopped barley wine, quite unusual, but you know its not an easy find. great sipper.

my first ever KBS. Without a doubt it is fantastic, but I can also do just as well with a central waters BBS which is very underrated. If I can get it again, I will. But if I can't I'll use CWBBS as a close competitor.

alcohol hits first, not your typical barley wine ale, lacks any sweetness, lots of carbonation, ok but would not seek out again.

the flavors have combined nicely, still not the mouth feel I like, but glad I had the opportunity to drink this, sweet up front, bitter on the back end. good combination.
