Definitely oak aged, but has a distinct odd flavor in the ending. Not sure if this is tannins from the oak spirals or from the beer but the taste is odd.

soso imperial stout. Somewhat odd lingering flavors to it.

Softer than old rasputin but nothing great. Not a ton of wheat flavors come through.

A little more body than the wheat aged but also gives it some more sweetness. Could have been the barrels used. Favorite of the barrel aged beers for old rasputin, but not overwhelmed with it.

More subtle flavors than the 2015 vintage. I think they are melded more but are more minor in flavor.

Amazing sour as always. Stronger flavors than the 2014 vintage but more distinct and layered.

Like drinking chocolate syrup. Interesting beer but very heavy on the chocolate.

Solid oud bruin but pales compared to Dissident.

More funky than sour, but a nice beer. Needs some aging.

Rum up front, roasted notes on the backend. Odd combination, but it works.

Coffee flavor, after a year, is about right. Liked it almost better than the BA version.

Slight berry taste late in the beer but very grainy up-front.

Solid blend of flavors...beer with rum overlap.
