Drank Black Butte XXVII by Deschutes Brewery | October 5th, 2015 |
2015-12-12 Slowly getting better, but still needs more time.
2015-10-05 Going to be amazing as it ages. The apricot notes give an interesting depth to the beer that will meld better with time. Can't wait to try this again after the drink after date.
Drank Origins Burgundy Sour by Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project (2015-05) | October 3rd, 2015 |
Drank West Bound Braggot by Twisted Pine Brewing Company | October 3rd, 2015 |
Drank Neuschwansteiner Bavarian Lager by Hirschbru Privatbrauerei Hss | October 3rd, 2015 |
2015-10-03 What an oktoberfest should be. Slightly on the sweet side.
Drank 12 oz of Citrusinensis by Lagunitas Brewing Company | September 28th, 2015 |
2015-07-16 Normal beer with mild citrus flavors. Nothing overly specific to blood-oranges.
Drank 500 ml of Hugo by 4 Hands Brewing Company / Brasserie Dunham (2015-05-18) | September 28th, 2015 |
2015-09-28 Was a solid saison but nothing special.
Drank 22 oz of Peach Habanero Imperial Red Ale by Crabtree Brewery | September 28th, 2015 |
2015-09-28 Peach flavor cuts through the normal malt and hop flavors. Small amount of bitterness in the finish between the peach and heat. Heat is minimal but builds over a full glass. Colleen says more heat when on draft.
Drank 650 ml of Kamen Knuddeln by Against The Grain Brewery & Smokehouse | September 19th, 2015 |
2015-09-19 Decent dark soul but nothing overly amazing. Good balance of malt and tartness.
Drank 650 ml of Oro de Calabaza by Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales (2014-10-22) | September 3rd, 2015 |
2015-09-03 Perfect summer beer. Light, slightly tart with a medium body.
Drank Mosaic Saison by Anchorage Brewing Co | September 3rd, 2015 |
2015-09-03 Soso. The Mosaic hops dominate this and make it feel like more of an early spring beer with the promise of greenery to come.
Drank 22 oz of Old Guardian Barley Wine Style Ale by Stone Brewing Co. (2015) | September 2nd, 2015 |
2015-09-02 Amazingly balanced barleywine. Can't wait for the aged one, but going to be hard to improve on.
Drank 22 oz of The Woodsman by 4 Hands Brewing Co. (2015-01) | September 2nd, 2015 |
2015-09-02 Oak notes overpower the malt in this. Solid barleywine, but wish there was more beer character that cut through the oak.
Drank Pecan Harvest by Abita Brewing Company | August 27th, 2015 |
Drank 750 ml of 22nd Crooked Line Birthday Suit: Sour Plum Abbey Ale by Unita Brewing | August 26th, 2015 |
2015-08-26 Hints of plums in the finish, mildly tart flavor.
Drank 375 ml of Farmer's Reserve Pluot by Almanac Beer Co. | August 26th, 2015 |
2015-08-26 Nicely balanced beer. The pluots give it a very interesting flavor; fruit from the apricot and a mild plum finish. |
