Roasted coffee, burnt sugar on the nose. chocolate rasberry with bourbon after taste. little carb med smooth body.

seems blander

sweeter, less spice

banana clove bomb, yeasty finish

drank alongside a 15, and a 12. this one just doesn't know what it wants to be yet, drinks kinda like some other imp stouts when they're fresh. hops are there but nothing like the 15's dry hopped monster aroma, thin for an impy but not unpleasant, nice brown head sticky.

so much better than last time, but still tastes like grape soda!!

very little head pours the color of cola. sweet aroma, taste is very sweet too, there are complexities there but they are faint, maybe some caramel, liquoish. medim body hides the alc very well overall i think this beer is past its prime.

like it much better as it warms up to room temp, but i think its part of the process of drinking it. I've also begun to think that expedition has a very distinct aroma, I'll come back to that.

very little carb but superb taste. dark fruit and rich chocolate. No discernible soy sauce flavor or aroma this time.

little carbonation some soy sauce on the nose but oh so delicious.

thin brown head. bitterness fades into syrupy sweet chocolate and roast malt with a hint coffee and caramel. awesome beer.

potential is there, tasty brett especially in the last pour, not sure about the very dominant cherry-cola flavor... it doesn't go well with the thin body and under-carbonation.

not good, pear really clashes with malt sweetness and oak. way too sweet.

so much flavor. suprising amount of hop bitterness bult only a few months old well see how it develops.

Dark, Dark, Dark,. Poured half into snifter. Coco colored head dissipates quickly. Aroma faint. Thick syrupy mouth feel. Hints of bittersweet chocolate coffee but overall quite sweet. Very Good one year old. Bottled 12/10/2014.

more of a harsh hop bitterness, but some how the flavors seem muted, not a of aroma compared to the 14

Great Belgian dark ale. Smell - sugar, alcohol; Taste - dark fruits, sweet, tobacco; feel just right light without being thin but not heavy enough to be cloying with the sugar.
