very little head pours the color of cola. sweet aroma, taste is very sweet too, there are complexities there but they are faint, maybe some caramel, liquoish. medim body hides the alc very well overall i think this beer is past its prime.

Drank 12 oz of Expedition Stout by Bell's Brewery, Inc. (2013)February 19th, 2015
2015-02-19
like it much better as it warms up to room temp, but i think its part of the process of drinking it. I've also begun to think that expedition has a very distinct aroma, I'll come back to that.

delisioso. bottled 7-26-13
2014-11-24
very little carb but superb taste. dark fruit and rich chocolate. No discernible soy sauce flavor or aroma this time.
2014-11-01
little carbonation some soy sauce on the nose but oh so delicious.
2014-08-02
thin brown head. bitterness fades into syrupy sweet chocolate and roast malt with a hint coffee and caramel. awesome beer.
Drank 22 oz of Big Bad Baptist by Epic Brewing CompanyFebruary 15th, 2015

Served at 55, smell is not really there at first but opens up after about fifteen minutes, coco nibs make the first impression, start to get the other flavors as it warms, don't get much coffee, whiskey really hits toward the end, pleasant hot finish, body is thin for my tastes but overall very nice brew.

Drank 22 oz of Happy Ending by Sweetwater Brewing - Atlanta (2012)January 25th, 2015
2015-01-25
At three years old this is one of the oldest beers i've tried so far. Cutting of f the wax reveals some rust on the cap but it appears not to have affected the beer at all, A little light in the body, but still carbonated. The hops are a distant memory and the malt is showing up, very nice chocolate, brandy, roasted grains smells. taste is very good but its kinda like drinking an expedition with a splash of water, worth the 5 bucks and worth the wait to see how a beer changes but not on the same level as other imp stouts.

Woa! I remember what I love about this bear fresh. Hop aroma and flavor dominate but the dark malt flavor show up enough to compliment.

drank alongside a 15, and a 12. this one just doesn't know what it wants to be yet, drinks kinda like some other imp stouts when they're fresh. hops are there but nothing like the 15's dry hopped monster aroma, thin for an impy but not unpleasant, nice brown head sticky.
Drank 12 oz of Founders Imperial Stout by Founders BrewingJanuary 25th, 2015
2015-01-25
very nice malt sweetness, drinks like a BA stout but this one is just about the basic of brewing, hint of dark choclate bitterness with a smooth syrupy finish. this beer is quite thick at a year old
Drank 12 oz of Founders Imperial Stout by Founders Brewing (2014-12)January 25th, 2015

Dark, Dark, Dark,. Poured half into snifter. Coco colored head dissipates quickly. Aroma faint. Thick syrupy mouth feel. Hints of bittersweet chocolate coffee but overall quite sweet. Very Good one year old. Bottled 12/10/2014.
2015-01-25
more of a harsh hop bitterness, but some how the flavors seem muted, not a of aroma compared to the 14
Drank 12 oz of Bourbon County Brand Stout by Goose Island Beer Co. (2014)January 19th, 2015
2015-01-19
served at about 55. cola and bourbon at first and then as it warmed to room temp the chocolate and roast malts really showed up.
2014-12-13
very smootth, sweet bourbon nose, taste is chocolate up front and then becomes more sweet bourbony as it warms. The alcohol was not there and then all of a sudden it was. nice mouth feel but very little carb.
