2016-07-29 This is probably my favorite IPA. Huge citrus flavor. Smells of lemon, orange, tangerine but not so much grapefruit. Just a perfect IPA. | |

2016-07-27 Ugh, what was I thinking? Failed experiment, unless something dramatic happens with the other 90 minute IPAs I'm sitting on. I don't know what happened with my palate that night that I raved about the 6 month old bottle, but this is in barleywine territory at 1 year. But not a good barleywine. Sweet and bitter, when cold. Not entirely unpleasant but no longer an IPA. I hope the other vintages still pass as IPAs. | |
2016-01-21 So, so good. Better at 6 months old than fresh. Citrusy aroma, got some papaya flavor. | |

2016-07-26 Just a terrific lambic. Rose red, and sparkles like champagne. Has all the classic marks of lambics but with an incredible amount of cranberry flavor. I don't know how Dan does it, but he adds huge fruit flavor without losing the beer-ness. Extremely refreshing and delicious. Surprised the ABV is as high as it is. | |

2016-07-24 Reminds me a lot of the Lupine. Pale and fruity (not quite pineapple, maybe starfruit?), a lot more bitterness at the end than other Ninjas. Loved it. | |
