Drank 750 ml of Sans Pagaie by The Bruery (2013-03-22) | June 24th, 2013 |
2013-06-24 Amazing color, like a rosé; sour nose, puckering initial taste but mellows out into a little sweetness and oak. Delicious!
Drank 650 ml of Matilda by Goose Island Beer Co. (2012-08) | June 24th, 2013 |
2013-08-31 Definitely getting a lot more brett a year in; great beer for a warm day, nice bitterness on the finish.
2013-06-24 A little more Brett than last time; delicious!
Drank 22 oz of Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA by Stone Brewing Co. (2013) | June 24th, 2013 |
2013-06-26 Didn't need to buy another one; really just too big for its own good.
2013-06-24 All in all, an interesting beer but not a favorite. Too much fruitiness in the hops coupled with a very dry beer don't make for the best combination.
2013-06-22 Bright hop taste, not too much in the nose, a lot of wine-like characteristics from the Nelson-Sauvin hops. Honestly not a favorite first pass, will see how the second one holds up later.

Drank 750 ml of Brux Domesticated Wild Ale by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. (2012) | June 19th, 2013 |
2013-06-19 Mild, brett nose, and a delicious mix of sweetness and brett funk on the palate; this second tasting is better than I remember the first being.
2012-12-28 First tasting was solid, with mild sourness. Don't mix with other beers, will overwhelm. Definite wild ale mouthfeel.
Drank 750 ml of Chimay Grande Réserve (Blue) by Biéres de Chimay S.A. (2012) | June 19th, 2013 |
2013-06-19 Yeasty nose, sweet on the tongue, sparkling and a dry finish for the ABV
Drank 750 ml of Oak Aged Bretta by Logsdon Farmhouse Ales (2013) | June 3rd, 2013 |
2013-06-03 Delicious! Still pretty sweet, with definite oak character coming through. Wondering if I like these Brett variants more young than aged.
Drank 16 oz of Blind Pig IPA by Russian River Brewing Company (2013-05-02) | May 28th, 2013 |
2013-05-23 Delicious, hop forward, like a milder Pliny the Elder (as one might expect!)
Drank 650 ml of Imperial Eclipse Stout - Evan Williams Bourbon by FiftyFifty Brewing Co. (2012) | May 27th, 2013 |
2013-05-27 Not as sweet as expected, but for the better. Brownie, bourbon, decent carbonation for a big stout, and a slightly bitter finish. Delicious.
Drank 750 ml of La Fin Du Monde by Unibroue (2013) | May 26th, 2013 |
Drank 375 ml of Saint's Devotion by The Lost Abbey (2013) | May 24th, 2013 |
2013-05-24 Light, dry, a sparkling mouthfeel with an enormous head and good retention and lacing. Not terribly interesting, but a straightforward take on the style.
Drank 22 oz of Magnificent Seven by Alpine Beer Company (2013) | May 24th, 2013 |
2013-05-24 A really well balanced IPA; not quite west coast, but tasty and an easy drinker.
