Drank 750 ml of Whiteout Wit by Anchorage Brewing Co (2012-03)April 5th, 2013
2013-04-05
Pretty tasty. Big Brett on nose, but more balanced taste, with a nice residual wit sweetness on the finish. Would drink again.
Drank 330 ml of Pannepot by De Struise Brouwers (2011)April 4th, 2013
2013-04-04
So much delicious fruit in the nose. Dark, sweet, and some yeast in the pour. Sweet, well carbonated, molasses, plums. Delicious.
2013-01-12
Smooooth. Some brown sugar, some bread, some currants, almost no alcohol heat. Delicious!
Drank 750 ml of The Tide and Its Takers by Anchorage Brewing Co (2012-11)April 3rd, 2013
2013-09-16
About what I remember: basically a showcase for brett and not much else. Still, a solid brett at that.
2013-04-03
Lots of Brett! Curious how this will age.
Drank 650 ml of Torment by Heretic Brewing Company (2013)April 3rd, 2013
2013-04-03
Kind of mild, actually. Not bad but not great.
Drank 12 oz of Prairie Standard by Prairie Artisan Ales (2012)April 3rd, 2013
2013-04-03
Some herb, good fresh hoppiness, and light mouthfeel. Not bad.
2013-03-28
Herby in a lemongrass kind of way, hoppy nose, pretty good!
Drank 650 ml of Cappuccino Stout by Lagunitas Brewing Company (2012)April 2nd, 2013
2013-04-02
Big coffee notes, delicious, great beer.
2013-01-02
Not much in the nose. Strong coffee notes, porter overtones in the mouthfeel and initial flavor. A good stout, not terribly exciting, but for the price? Thumbs up.
Drank 12 oz of Ken Schmidt / Iron Fist / Stone Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout by Stone Brewing Co. (2012)March 29th, 2013
2015-10-10
Still lots of mint! Hope they do this beer again, super delicious.
2014-05-25
Still lots of mint, dark chocolate, very little booziness. Love it.
2014-04-15
Tasting great, very much like a peppermint patty with lots of chocolate and a subtle amount of mint. Great beer, glad I grabbed extras.
2013-10-08
The mint is possibly fading a tad, but still an amazingly delicious beer. So well done.
2013-03-29
This beer is amazing. The mint works so well. Wish I had more in the cellar than just two!
2013-01-09
This was delicious! Was scared mint would overwhelm, but was extremely subtle and a perfect compliment. Should age well, must resist temptation to drink them all now.
Drank 750 ml of Seizoen Bretta by Logsdon Farmhouse Ales (2012)March 28th, 2013
2013-04-12
This is a delicious beer.
2013-03-28
Delicious! Brett is mild, sweetness is perfect, some wheatiness.
Drank 12 oz of Prairie Standard by Prairie Artisan Ales (2012)March 28th, 2013
2013-04-03
Some herb, good fresh hoppiness, and light mouthfeel. Not bad.
2013-03-28
Herby in a lemongrass kind of way, hoppy nose, pretty good!
Drank 750 ml of Imperial Loakal Red by The Bruery (2013)March 28th, 2013
2013-03-28
Hop forward, pretty tasty, but honestly the normal Loakal is better.
Drank 750 ml of Funk Metal Sour Barrel-Aged Stout by Jester King Craft Brewery (2013)March 28th, 2013
2014-11-16
Very stout like on the finish, lots of sour up front. Interesting and tasty but not a crowd favorite.
2013-03-28
Interesting! Not so much a stout, get more Consecration style flavor out of it. Good!
Drank 750 ml of Black Metal Farmhouse Imperial Stout by Jester King Craft Brewery (2013)March 28th, 2013
2013-03-28
More a porter than a stout; not bad, but nothing amazing.
Drank 330 ml of St. Bernardus Abt 12 by Brouwerij St. Bernardus (2012)March 28th, 2013
2013-08-12
Really solid, lots of yeast in the pour, but a great quadruple.
2013-01-13
Smooth but with a good fizz on the finish. Mild nose, creamy mouthfeel, a straightforward expression of the quad style. Quite good.
Drank 750 ml of Carnevale by The Lost Abbey (2013)March 28th, 2013
2013-03-28
Light, tasty, nothing mind blowing but a solid farmhouse.
Drank 12 oz of Maximus by Lagunitas Brewing Company (2013)March 27th, 2013
2013-03-25
Sweetness on the palate with solid hoppiness, yeastiness in the nose. Solid if mild IPA.
