Drank 750 ml of Seizoen by Logsdon Farmhouse Ales (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-28
Champagne like mouthfeel; fruity, some mild spices, orange, and a yeasty nose. Would drink again!
Drank 750 ml of Rodenbach Classic (Red) by Brouwerij Rodenbach (2012)January 8th, 2013
2013-01-07
Wine-like notes in nose, with some yeast as well. Mild tart, mild sweet, a nice balance.
Drank 650 ml of Raspberry Brown by Lost Coast Brewery (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-31
Thin, tastes like Raspberry soda beer. Not so good.
Drank 750 ml of My Antonia by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery (2012)January 8th, 2013
2013-01-07
Honestly, a bit weird! Big malt nose, but a not too sweet, hopped up pilsner taste. Not bad, but definitely contemplative for a lager.
Drank 750 ml of Morimoto Imperial Pilsner by Rogue Ales (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-28
Interesting, big pilsner. Some ale-like overtones for a lager, and some bread-like character.
Drank 750 ml of Mischief by The Bruery (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-29
Interesting spices in the nose, perhaps a hint of sour in the finish, might just be hop character manifesting as such. Highly carbonated, prone to excess head formation. A really drinkable beer, very enjoyable.
2012-12-28
Solid golden Belgian ale, relatively strong hop character for the style that works well.
Drank 650 ml of Maximus IPA by Lagunitas Brewing Company (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-28
Good! Super balanced, sweet and hop character works well together.
Drank 650 ml of Lips of Faith - Biere De Garde by New Belgium Brewing (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-28
Funky nose, but more citrus on the tongue, not too carbonated, a little syrupy. Interesting, middle of the road, not a favorite.
Drank 12 oz of Lagunitas Sucks Brown Shugga Substitute Ale by Lagunitas Brewing Company (2012)January 8th, 2013
2013-01-03
Great Lagunitas hop character in the nose, hop-forward but doesn't finish too bitter. About what I recall from tasting it last year, and still a great IPA.
Drank 650 ml of Julian Hard Cider by Julian Hard Cider (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-30
Clear, quite light, mild sweetness and strong apple character. Solid if unexciting cider.
Drank 750 ml of Iceman Hard Cider by Angry Orchard Hard Cider (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-28
Sweet, used ice wine as an inspiration. Still balanced, and quite strong!
Drank 750 ml of Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel by Brasserie d'Achouffe (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-29
Almost an "mmm" beer on the Cami scale, despite being a Belgian Tripel. Cannot reiterate how much yeast sediment there is in this beer, however; both tastings I've had issues getting the last inch or so off the bottom due to yeast.
2012-12-28
Delicious! Belgian hoppiness well balanced with mild malt and slight, slight tartness.
Drank 650 ml of Evil Cousin by Heretic Brewing Company (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-28
Hop forward, not much nose, otherwise not terribly notable, but not at all bad.
Drank 750 ml of Estate Homegrown Wet Hop Ale by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-28
Mild IPA, grass like characteristics, definite mildness due to wet hopping.
Drank 650 ml of Double Jack by Firestone Walker Brewing Co. (2012)January 8th, 2013
2012-12-28
Pervasive hop character throughout, without biting bitterness. Noticeable pine, some mild citrus, and grapefruit. A good one!
